After Bayonetta and Balder fought Aesir (Loptr), Balder got corrupted by Loptr's soul to prevent Loptr from being reborn in a different timeline.
So Loptr had a 500 year plan regarding the Witch Hunts and all that had happened. Since Loptr wasn't able to retrieve "The Eyes of the World", he "had to use the evil hearts of humans to retrieve the power of an ancient god". And for him to posses "The Eyes of the World", he had to have the sovereign power which Loki had. But the only reason for him to do that was to posses "The Eyes of the World". Loptr's motive was to become Aesir to rule the world. Think about it, the whole entire reason why the whole Resurrection of Jubileus thing happened in the first place because Balder was corrupted by Loptr's soul. In conclusion, an Umbra Witch may be the main antagonist for Bayon3tta because the color and condition of magic and the soul has the exact appearance and condition of the antagonist in the bayo3 teaser with Vigrid having the same weather conditions of the bayo3 teaser. So an Umbra Witch may be the main antagonist for bayon3tta because Vigrid has frequent rain just like in the bayo3 teaser, and is the place where Umbra Witches' train at. That's the place where they learned all of their magical arts. Not only does it rain frequently in Vigrid, but Vigrid is the place where Umbra Witches train at. Think about it? It rains very frequently in Vigrid. Lastly, an Umbra Witch may be the main antagonist for Bayon3tta because the weather conditions of Vigrid has the same weather conditions from the bayo3 teaser. So, when an Umbra Witches' soul is damaged, the soul can have the same conditions like the antagonist soul from the bayo3 teaser. Or, when Loptr got his soul knocked out of his own body by Omne, you can see blue flame drawing away from his own body. When you play as Loki in chapter V, you can see his whole entire body consumed with blue magical flame when you are able to do his climax. This isn't just with Umbra Witches', this is also with Loptr and Loki. Also, when you fill up your magic gauge to activate UC, you can see purple magical flame consuming the whole entire body. As her soul is getting sucked by Resentment, you can literally see purple flame drawing away from her own body. A better example of this is when Cereza is getting her soul sucked by Resentment. As her soul is getting knocked out of her own body, you can see purple flame drawing away from her soul. A good example of this is when Jeanne's soul is knocked out of her own body by Gomorrah. When an Umbra Witches' soul is being damaged, you can see purple magical flame drawing away from the soul. The condition of the antagonist soul in the bayo3 teaser was consumed with flame. Second, the condition of the antagonist soul in the bayo3 teaser resembles a lot like an Umbra Witches' soul when it's being damaged. So the antagonist soul in the bayo3 teaser has the same color soul as an Umbra Witch. Jubileus's soul is clear because she uses various types of colored magic(If you ever mixed all colors you get the color white, but the devs didn't do that, so they chose clear instead).
We can also logically assume Loki's soul is blue because he uses blue colored magic. Loptr uses blue colored magic in most of his attacks therefore, his soul is blue. For instance, both Cereza and Jeanne's magic is purple therefore, their soul is purple. This is because magic and the soul is very relatable in a way. The antagonist we saw in the bayo3 teaser has the same color soul with white aura appearing and disappearing inside of it. An Umbra Witches' soul is purple with white aura appearing and disappearing inside of it.
